Arthur's Pass Hiking & TranzAlpine Tour Prices & Times

All tour prices include central Christchurch pick ups & drop offs, one way journey on the TranzAlpine, guided walking in Arthur's Pass National Park, lunch, afternoon tea and free use of our hiking gear.

2010/2011 tour prices

Adult $315. Child $210.
Includes one way journey on the TranzAlpine.

No rail option: Adult $220. Child $140.
Includes all the above but travel in both directions is by road.

(Children aged 5-14 years, all prices are in NZ$ and include GST of 12.5%) Prices valid until 31 May 2011.

What time does the tour we leave and get back to Christchurch?

7.30-8.00           Christchurch accommodation pick-ups
8.15                  Depart Christchurch on the TranzAlpine
10.42                Arrive Arthur's Pass
11.00                Depart on Bealey Valley track with guide
14.30-15.00       Finish walking, visit Otira lookout & visitor centre
16.00                Depart Arthur's Pass
18.00-18.30       Christchurch accommodation drop offs

When does the tour operate?

Daily from September 15 to May 31. (Except Christmas Day)

Minimum Pax: 2 people Maximum Pax: 10 people

We can take a limited number of larger tour groups, please ask us for more information.

Cancellation Fees:

Outside 14 days: No fee

From 14 days to 48 hours prior: 30%

Within 48 hours: 50%

No shows will incur 100% cancellation fees.
