Company founder Andrew Wells spent many years traveling around the world and overseas so in 2002 decided it would be a good idea to start a tour company to show people around this fantastic country, so that is what he did. 

Combining his love of telling stories and first hand knowledge of New Zealand's national parks and walking tracks he started guiding walking groups in the summer of 2002/2003 and things have grown from there.  With so many great walking tracks around we decided not to try and be everything to everybody but to specialize in what we know: walking and hiking (whatever the difference is!)

We now offer guided day walks in the Canterbury region and small group guided tours to some of the best walking areas in the country.  We want to introduce special places to people who will really appreciate them, we do not want to become a large scale main stream tour operator, our goal is to offer the best walking tours in the country.  

Our newest tour is a one day guided walk in the Arthur's Pass National Park, followed by a return journey to Christchurch on the Tranz Alpine high country train.  We started this tour in 2005 and are looking forward to our fifth season from spring 2009.
